The honest bottom line

Liposomal can match or beat bisglycinate on raw absorption — we won't pretend otherwise. But for winding down at night, the form with the best human evidence, the gentlest stomach profile, and a calming amino acid (glycine) built in is fully-reacted magnesium bisglycinate. Proof, not claims

We didn't just source it. We tested that it's actually chelated.

"Bisglycinate" only works if the magnesium is genuinely bonded to the glycine. Cheaper material can be a physical mix that never truly bonded — and it won't absorb the same way. So we sent our real production batch to Auriga Research, a government-approved test house, and asked one question: is the magnesium truly chelated?

They used FTIR — infrared spectroscopy. Every chemical bond absorbs at its own frequency, leaving a signature pattern you can read.

Glycine grabs with two "hands"

A carboxyl group (–COO⁻) and an amino group (–NH₂). When they truly clamp onto magnesium, their fingerprint peaks shift.

Our batch showed the carboxyl + amino shift plus the tell-tale magnesium–glycine bonds. No shift would mean no real bond. This one passed.
