UNWIND · Magnesium Bisglycinate + Citrate
You're not bad at sleeping. Your magnesium just isn't absorbing.
Most magnesium sold in India is Magnesium Oxide. Your body absorbs less than 4 of every 100 mg of it. The rest leaves your body unused.
UNWIND uses Magnesium Bisglycinate and Citrate — the forms built to be absorbed.
Night 1 is easier. Week 2 is when the 3am wake-ups go. Night 30 is when you'll know — which is why we ask for 30 nights, not one.

Magnesium Bisglycinate + Citrate · 90 Tablets per bottle
UNWIND
Sleep deeper. Wake up actually rested.
3 tablets before bed. Magnesium your body actually absorbs — Bisglycinate and Citrate, not the Oxide most brands use — plus L-Theanine for a quiet mind and Apigenin to fall asleep faster.

If three or more of these sound like you, you're probably low on magnesium.
- You take melatonin and it stopped working.
- You'd rather not take a hormone every night.Melatonin is a hormone. Magnesium is a mineral.
- You wake up at 3amand can't get back down.
- You wake up groggyeven after seven or eight hours.
- Your muscles cramp— or restless legs, or PMS irritability in the week before your period.
- You wake up puffy— especially under the eyes — even on the mornings you technically slept enough.
These aren't separate problems. They're symptoms of the same one — your body is running low on magnesium, and the magnesium you've been buying isn't getting in.
The mechanism
Why the form on the label decides whether it works
-
1. Magnesium has to survive your gut to be useful.
Cheap forms — Magnesium Oxide is the common one — barely dissolve. Your gut absorbs a small fraction. Most of it passes straight through. -
2. Bisglycinate is magnesium bonded to an amino acid.
That bond lets it cross into your bloodstream intact, and it's gentle on the stomach. Citrate absorbs well too, and helps your muscles. -
3. Once it's in, magnesium is what lets your nervous system stand down.
It's a cofactor your body needs to make GABA — the signal that tells a wired brain to stop. Without enough magnesium, that switch works badly.
The short version: same mineral, different form, completely different result.
Typical magnesium vs UNWIND
| Typical magnesium | UNWIND | |
|---|---|---|
| Form on the label | Often just "Magnesium" — form not stated | Bisglycinate + Citrate, both named |
| Absorption | Magnesium Oxide: under 4 of every 100 mg gets in | Bisglycinate and Citrate are two of the best-absorbed forms there are — multiples of Oxide, not percentages of it |
| Hormonal? | Melatonin is a hormone | Not a hormone |
| The morning after | Grogginess is common with melatonin | No sedative hangover |
| Stomach | Oxide commonly causes loose stools | Bisglycinate is the gentle form |
| Doses shown? | Often a "proprietary blend" | Every dose printed below |
The honest timeline
This is not a night-one product.
- Night 1 — winding down gets easier. Most people notice the edge come off first. Falling asleep takes less effort. That's it, and that's normal.
- Week 1 — you fall asleep faster.Less lying there. Less scrolling until your eyes hurt.
- Week 2 — the 3am wake-ups get rarer. This is usually the change people actually notice, and it's the one that takes longest to arrive.
- Night 30 — you wake up recovered. Not just "slept". The first place most people notice it is the face in the morning — a bad night shows up there before anywhere else, and a run of good ones does too.
The one thing that makes this fail
People quit on night three.
Magnesium isn't a sedative. It doesn't knock you out on night one, and it isn't supposed to. It works by topping up a mineral you've been running low on — and that takes weeks, not hours.
Take it every night for 30 nights. If nothing has changed by then, ask for your money back and we'll send it.
Don't quit at Week 1

Four ingredients. Every dose printed.
| Ingredient | Dose | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Magnesium Bisglycinate + Citrate | 3,030 mg The magnesium is bonded to an amino acid, and that whole compound weighs 3,030 mg. The magnesium itself — the part that does the work — is 393 mg, or 89% of what an adult needs in a day. |
The two forms your body can actually absorb |
| L-Theanine | 600 mg | An amino acid from tea leaves. Calm without drowsiness. |
| Apigenin | 75 mg | The compound found in chamomile |
| Vitamin B6 (as P-5-P) | 0.63 mg 100% of a day's requirement. B6 works at tiny doses — this is the active P-5-P form, not the cheap one your liver has to convert. |
The active form of B6 — helps your body use the magnesium |
Nothing else. No proprietary blends. No melatonin. No sedatives. No added sugar.
Tested for what shouldn't be there. Independently lab-tested for lead, mercury, cadmium and arsenic. All four came back below the detectable limit.
No guesswork
How to take it
- How many? 3 tablets.
- When? About 60 minutes before you want to be asleep.
- With food? Either way. Bisglycinate is gentle on an empty stomach.
- How long does a pack last? Each bottle is 90 tablets — 30 nights at 3 a night. So the 2-bottle pack is 60 nights and the 3-bottle pack is 90.
- Will it knock me out? No. It is not a sedative. You should feel calmer, not drugged.
- Will I wake up groggy? No. That's the melatonin problem, and there's no melatonin in this.
- Can I take it forever? Yes. Magnesium is a mineral you need every day regardless.
Who this isn't for
- Anyone who wants to be unconscious in 20 minutes. This is not a sedative and it will disappoint you.
- Anyone who'll quit on night four. It won't have worked yet — you'll just have talked yourself out of it before it had a chance.
- Anyone pregnant or breastfeeding, or on prescription medication — speak to your doctor first.
Questions people ask before buying
Is this the same as the magnesium at the chemist?
Almost certainly not. Most cheap magnesium is Magnesium Oxide, and the label often doesn't say which form it is at all. If the label doesn't name the form, assume it's Oxide.
How is this different from melatonin?
Melatonin is a hormone — you're adding a hormone your body already makes. Magnesium is a mineral your body needs and probably isn't getting enough of. Melatonin also commonly leaves people groggy the next morning. This doesn't.
Why 3 tablets instead of 1?
Because a useful dose of magnesium is physically bulky. Three tablets is what it takes to deliver 393 mg of elemental magnesium. A one-tablet magnesium is an under-dose in a smaller pill.
I have a sensitive stomach.
Bisglycinate is specifically the form chosen for that. The form that upsets stomachs is Oxide.
When will it arrive?
Typically 3–5 working days across India. Delivery is free.
Isn't 393 mg more than the limit I've read about?
The 350 mg figure you'll find online exists because of what poorly absorbed magnesium does on the way through — Oxide that your gut can't take up sits there and causes loose stools. Bisglycinate is absorbed rather than dumped, which is why it's dosed higher and sits better. 393 mg is 89% of what an adult needs in a day, not an overdose.
Will it make me get up in the night?
No. Magnesium is not a diuretic and there's nothing in UNWIND that makes you produce more urine. Take the tablets with a small glass of water rather than a large one.
Can I take it with my other supplements?
Yes — vitamin D, ashwagandha, a multivitamin, protein, all fine. Leave a couple of hours between UNWIND and any iron or zinc, because those compete with magnesium for absorption. If you're on prescription medication, check with your doctor.
What if I miss a night?
Nothing breaks. Magnesium builds up over weeks, so one missed night doesn't reset anything — just carry on the next night. Don't double up to catch up.
Can I have a drink and still take it?
A glass of wine won't stop it working. Heavy drinking wrecks your sleep on its own, and no supplement fixes that.
Are the tablets big? How do I take them?
All 3 tablets together, with water, about an hour before bed. They're a normal supplement tablet size — a real magnesium dose is physically bulky, which is why it's three rather than one.
Is it habit-forming?
No. It's a dietary mineral, not a drug. There's no dependency and nothing to taper off.
How do I store it, and how long does it keep?
Somewhere cool and dry, lid closed, out of direct sun. The batch expiry is printed on the bottle.
What if it doesn't work?
Take it every night for 30 nights. If your sleep hasn't changed, email listen@absorbedinminutes.com and we refund your whole order — every bottle you bought. Keep them. There is nothing to send back, no form to fill in, and nobody to argue with.
Batch-tested · NABL-accredited lab
Your supplement is safe and effective. Here's how we tested it.
Two things have to be true for a supplement to work: it has to contain the forms and doses it claims, and it has to be clean. The forms and doses are printed on this page in full. For clean, we send every batch to an independent, government-accredited lab. Here's the result for the batch you're buying.
To put that in perspective:
Trace metals occur naturally in everyday foods. Even in the worst mathematical case — if this batch held metals just under the lab's detection limit — a full day of UNWIND (3 tablets) would still carry less than the foods you eat without thinking twice.
Food values are typical levels reported in FDA Total Diet Study, EFSA and Indian food-monitoring surveys, shown for scale — trace metals occur naturally in many everyday foods. The UNWIND bar shows the maximum mathematically possible below the lab's limit of quantification (1.0 mg/kg); all four metals were below detectable limits in this batch.
Both numbers above are the lab's own. The ULR is verifiable independently through the NABL portal — you don't have to take our word for any of this.
